「そだねー」のことばが商標出願されたことで話題になっています。このことばは「そうだね」の北海道の方言であり、今回の冬季五輪でカーリング女子日本代表(LS北見)が使っていたことばです。

ところで、「そだねー」は商標登録されるでしょうか。私は問題なく登録されると思います。「そだねー」のことばに著作権はないし、有名になったことばですが、他人の商標でもありません。「そだねー」の商標を付した菓子を他社の菓子と区別できるので、識別性もあります。
問題は先後願のみです。最も先に出願した者が登録を受けられます。誰が最も先の出願人であるかは現時点では確認できません。どなたか教えてください。

Reportedly, a co-op of Kitami Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as “Kitami") filed a trademark application for this word two days before Rokkatei's trademark application, but because Kitami's application was filed very recently, its application number has not been made clear, and thus cannot be confirmed on J-PlatPat.
I wonder if this trademark application for “Sodane" will be registered or not. I think it will be registered without any problem because nobody has a copyright for this word. Certainly, the word “Sodane" has become famous but is not any person's trademark, and confectionery bearing this word can be distinguished from other persons' confectionery.
The only problem is who was first to file a trademark application for this word, which cannot be confirmed at this stage. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to confirm who the earliest applicant is.
