令和元年意匠法改正により、内装や建物が意匠登録できるようになりました。前回は内装の意匠登録第1号、第2号を伝えました。今回は建物の意匠登録第1号を伝えます。

屋上から地上に切り崩したような形状の屋外を遊戯スペースや休憩スペース等として用いることが特徴であることが、願書に記載されています。

この意匠も、創作者は佐藤可士和氏であると記載されています。

物品の模様、形状という小規模なデザインから、大規模な空間設計も保護されます。そして、意匠制度は、デザイナーだけでなく建築家まで巻き込む大規模な制度に変化しました。企業は個々の物品について1つ1つ意匠登録していましたが、建物1つをまるごと意匠登録することになります。製品コンセプトだけでなく、企業コンセプト全体が意匠登録から推測できるようになります。

The application states that the design is characterized by an outdoor space that is shaped in such a way that it appears the building is split from the rooftop to the ground, and is to be used as a play area, rest area, or similar.

The creator of this design is also listed as Kashiwa Sato.

The design registration system protects small-scale designs, such as patterns and shapes of articles, to large-scale spatial designs. The system has been transformed into a large-scale system that involves not only designers, but also architects. In addition to companies registering individual articles one by one, they can now register an entire building as a design. It is not only a product concept that can be assumed from the design registration, but also an entire corporate concept
