本年9月に私共の事務所である奥田国際特許事務所を通して、特許になった発明を紹介します。カラオケ機器から流れる音楽に合わせて、室内の照明効果を柔軟に調整する発明です。

I would like to introduce an invention that was patented in September of this year through the firm I work for, Okuda & Associates. The invention flexibly adjusts the lighting effects in a room according to the music played from a karaoke machine.

「 図1に示すように、この発明に係る照明制御システム10は、複数のカラオケルーム12内に設置されたカラオケ機器14と、モニタ16と、マスター装置18と、複数の固定式照明装置20と、複数の可搬式照明装置22(22a, 22b)と、コントロールパッド24とを備えている。」

“As shown in FIG. 1, a lighting control system 10 of this invention includes karaoke equipment 14, a monitor 16, a master device 18, a plurality of fixed lighting devices 20, a plurality of portable lighting devices 22 (22a, 22b), and a control pad 24, which are installed in each of a plurality of karaoke rooms 12.”

上図のように、フレーズごとに照明が決定されています。

As shown in the above figure, the lighting is determined for each phrase of a song.

デフォルトの照明のほかに、ユーザが割り込みで照明を制御できます。

In addition to the default lighting, the user can control the lighting by interruption.

つまりこの発明は、カラオケ店において、一般ユーザがコンサート会場のような本格的な照明演出を手軽に楽しめるようにする技術です。
純粋な電気の技術ではなく、このように照明を調整できる手順を規定した発明も特許になることがわかりました。

In other words, this invention is a technology that allows ordinary users to easily enjoy a full-scale lighting production resembling lighting at a concert hall at a karaoke box.
It is not only purely electrical technology that can be patented, but also inventions that specify a procedure for adjusting lighting in this way.
